She Reached The Hem of His Garment

Great Day Readers!!!

Can you believe that January has almost ended and we are about to be in February and that I have done two entries this month?!? Let’s pray I keep it up! I am going to truly try as my life continues to create opportunities of demands and advancements. My declaration this year is to be consistent in all the assignments GOD has called me to.

This morning I  sent out a text to the people that are in my inner circle about something so personal and vulnerable to me. It came after me preaching a message and honestly me realizing I had never said some things out loud about parts of my life as a wife. I had never openly and out loud admit that my bleeding was caused by a miscarriage because by the time we got to the doctor to see what was going on I was no longer pregnant. After taking pregnant tests prior. What do you do when you know something; however, your denial and others’ influence will tell you that you are lying to yourself? (That’s another topic for another day) Below is the message that I sent to my circle that I feel that you could benefit from. I hope that it blesses and frees you as it did me.

Good morning! Listen on yesterday I got to preach on the story of the woman with the issue of blood, it’s one of my favorite stories due to the fact I used to be her. No, I didn’t bleed for 12 years; however, the almost year of bleeding felt like forever. It created so many emotional trauma moments and increased my areas of fear. It causes me to question my existence and my womanhood. I was married at the time to an insensitive husband, who didn’t understand the fears that haunt me in my sleep. Not meeting his needs, realizing I had a miscarriage, and not knowing if or could I get pregnant again. I felt alone and isolated, ashamed, embarrassed, and scared. However, during my morning meditation, these scriptures spoke to me.

God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way— the path that brings me back to you. Psalms 139:23‭-‬24 TPT

He heals the wounds of every shattered heart. Psalms 147:3 TPT

I know you are wondering how did those two scriptures speak to you. When I reflect back on that moment I remember the anxiety and depression I felt, “anxious thoughts and path of pain”. It wasn’t until I ask Daddy to search me that the second scripture started to manifest. I don’t know where you are in this journey called life. I don’t know if you are still in the first scripture or you experiencing the second. I just want to encourage you to stand still and allow Daddy (GOD) to heal you. Know I’m praying for you and I love you! Thank you for the honor to do both.

Even though that text was for my circle, that text was meant for you as well. You may not be in either place. You may be in a place where life is all good and you are progressing along in this journey; however, use this as a reminder when times get hard.

Prayer: Daddy thank you that even in the midst of adversity, disappointment, frustration, and confusion, you are there to search us, guide us, and heal us. You are there to remind us that you heal, you create wholeness, and you are at peace we just have to stand still long enough for you to search us. We love you and honor you. Thank you for being the one that creates ways out of no way. In Jesus Name! Amen

#DearFutureHusband 1Year Later

I can’t believe that my journey of #DearFutureHusband started a year ago. I never knew that my little post and comment to my future husband would impact not only women but men to desire their own future mate. As I enter into 2017 it is important to me to continue the ministry of my #DearFutureHusband by creating #DearFutureHusband365. I hope as my readers you will take part in this great conversation whether married or single. I think speaking to your future or current spouse is a great way to create moments of appreciation, growth, and create intimate moments that will last a lifetime. The Bible always reminds us of how powerful our words are and the wisdom we should use when it comes to using our tongue. Here are a couple of scriptures that got me all the way together when it come to my tongue.

Proverbs 12: 18 The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Proverbs 15: 4 The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.

Proverbs 16:1 To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.

Proverbs18:21 (The well know scripture about the tongue) The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

It amazes me that after Proverbs 18:21 we find the scripture that summarizes the heart of courtship between a man and woman. A man that finds a wife finds (obtains) favor with GOD. This can only happen when we know the power of our tongue. Daddy is so Amazing in his strategy. He gives us the formula for us to get our in positions to be found as a wife and for the husband to gain GODly favor. I LOVE IT!!

Prayer: Daddy we come seeking you for wisdom on how to use our words and speaking the future of our lives into existence. Daddy as we continue to wait for our future spouses, please us be patient in your timing. Help us to understand that your timing is perfect and it comes with a greater reward, one that our mind couldn’t even think of. One that outweighs our heart desires. One that creates a moment that causes us to stretch out on faith and trust you more.

In Jesus Name

AMEN!

He Has The Best Song

I love the Song of Solomon it is the most romantic book I have read in my life. To know the heart of a husband from courtship to engagement to the result of marriage. How he describes his bride and how she describes him. How they describe their love for one another and how she is so desperate to be in his presence. Not only is this book about a man and woman but can truly relate to how desperate we should be to be in the presence of GOD.

Song of Soloman 1:15-16

HE

15 Behold, you are beautiful, my love;
    behold, you are beautiful;
    your eyes are doves.

She

16 Behold, you are beautiful, my beloved, truly delightful.

‪#‎DearFutureHusband‬ I hope every morning you see my text messages you know how grateful I am for you being in my life and the honor I feel in carrying your last name.

You Will Be Called

I love the verse in the Bible that talks about the heart of marriage through two lives becoming one. I realize though it looks good at the altar on your wedding day it can be difficult if you do not realize how the two really can become one. Always remember when praying for your future spouse pray for the wisdom to know that two will become one. Mark 10:6-9But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife,[a] and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

‪#‎DearFutureHusband‬ there will never be a time where your presence doesn’t make me feel safe and secure. Why you ask? Because you carry the heart of my father. ‪#‎youarejustrrightforme‬

‪#‎DearFutureHusband‬ because you sowed a seed of sacrifice everything you create your hands to do will produce fruit. ‪#‎winningcouple‬

‪#‎DearFutureHusband‬ when I’m feeling like the D. U. F. F. With my friends you always remind me that I’m beautiful. ‪#‎thanksforvaluelessons‬

‪#‎DearFutureHusband‬ My world may seem chaotic and full of other people’s opinions but no matter what They say you always speak life.

‪#‎DearFutureHusband‬ please don’t complain how I pack when I need options to make sure I look fine for you. ‪#‎carrythesebagssir‬

Your Position

Hello Readers!!!

So if you all don’t know the I have been working on her thesis and feeling like I am getting no where! But I read the Arise5 (the prophetic journal based on the Hebrew calendar.. check it out at: http://www.arise5.com)  and I am getting my strength back. But I want to encourage you like I was encourage. We are in the month of Tammuz which is one that is filled with great things and I am so excited to see them manifest. There where six things that really stuck out that we must be aware of and make part of our lives. 1. This is the season where GOD is going to show you areas in your life that you need to adjust in order to remain in his will and stay on the path that he has called you to. 2. Light. This is the season where your light will need to shine bright and this will happen by accepting and taking on the glory of GOD. This is done by being in his presence through prayer and worship. Ask GOD to take your worship to another level that His glory will be just as real to other as it is to you. 3. Delay (this one is for me) This is the month to celebrate the delays in your life, and know that they are the confirmations of GOD’s preparation for your victory and promotion. 4. Choice. In this seasoning choosing to accept the positive in negative situations is crucial. You must speak the word in faith this season when it comes to negativity. Celebrate the positive in your life. I hope she doesn’t mind but I love the fact that friend  was able to celebrate the healing of her son’s heart but not only that, when he had to be place back on oxygen for a while she stayed positive by say “it’s just for a moment”. That’s how we must response to negativity “IT’S JUST FOR A MOMENT,” and if we declare the word of the LORD it will be just for a second. 5. Vulnerable… OOOOOOO I know some of us have a hard time with this word but this is necessary in this season. We can’t be super heroes in handling those moments that seem overwhelming in our own strength, it’s time that you tap into … Say it with me Circle of Influence which brings me to my last point….6. Relationships. It’s time to look at your circle to make sure it’s still healthy, productive, functioning, and balance. I know it’s heart and hard to prune and add to our circle but in this season it is necessary. Make sure your circle doesn’t get stale and that you are open to new relationships.

Prayer: Daddy we thank you that we are in a season where life, light, delay, choices, vulnerability, and relationships are key essentials to how we function in this season. WE thank you that we have life in you, and you give us life more abundantly as we stay on the path that you called us to. Help us with every assignment that we encounter daily, that you may get the glory in our actions. Helps us seek your face always that your presence will become and remain real to us and your glory may be the light that the world sees in us. Daddy help us accept, rejoice, and understand your delay is not a denial only a setup for your blessings. Help us Daddy to make the right choice in this season. That we speak your word during negative situations and stand on the promise of your positive outcome. Daddy help us become vulnerable in our times of needs that we seek out help when we need it the most as well as accept the help of others. Help us Daddy to not only be givers but receivers. Some of us are quick to give and slow to receive, help us find balance in both areas. Last Daddy gives us the strength and the heart to let go of the relationships that don’t grow us, that paralyze us in hurt, disappointment, unforgiveness, and discouragement. Help us make room for new relationships and give us the wisdom in who to let in and out of our lives. Help us not to see the pruning process as a place of pain , but one of growth and healing. In Jesus Name. Amen!

The Statement

Hey blog readers it’s been a while since I post something but while on facebook I ran across a memory note that bless me all over again.

The note is titled: THE STATEMENT

So in a conversation that I had with a sister on tonight she brought out something that I never thought about. So may time in our time of repentance we make the statement “GOD forgive me for the decisions that I MADE.” As she was praying for me, she stated “GOD allow my sister to move past the statement I MADE, because YOU are the author and finisher of our life story.” NOW maybe you didn’t get the revelation of the statement, so let me break it down. SHE said that I MADE, BUT YOU ARE THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER of OUR LIFE STORY. Which means that there is no such thing as a “MADE” Decision. Ok. GOD is the creator of all, and in the word He gives us free-will, but that doesn’t cancel the fact that He created the situation to the decisions that we make. These same decisions that either set us up or out. Ok. I’m sorry I’m about to lose it over here. GOD knows what decisions that we are going to make as well as the outcome of how it will play out. Let me just say this, in order to be a victor you must receive the victory of YOUR LIFE STORY!

This bless me all over again!!! I was deep before marriage..lol But the point of this is that we have to realize the statements we make will never change the course to our GOD destination. There are two examples that come to mind from the Bible that really confirm how the statement of our decisions will not change our GOD destination. Come here Jonah. He decided that he was not going to do what GOD called him to do and despite his attempt to escape the assignment by verbally speaking his plan, he still ended on the shore of his GOD destination. Come here Peter… You told JESUS you would not deny him but you did it several time and you curse… But look at you being the disciple you were called to be leading nations to Christ!!! WE can make decision but despite our decisions we will get to the GOD destination. The question remains will you take the 40 year or 40 day journey???

Prayer: Daddy today we come to you to say thank you for being the author and finisher of our life story. We realize that no matter what decisions we make you will get us to Your destination. We thank you for forgiving us in our bad decision making that manifest disobedience, and giving us the opportunity to reach our GOD destination in your grace and mercy. Daddy we shift towards a mindset of obedience and we thank you that no matter what statement we make the result is we win in you. Daddy help stay the course of  your will. Help us warn off distractions that cause your voice to be drowned by the weight of this world and the worries of this life. Remind us Daddy that you are the provider and everything we need can and will be found in you. Daddy help us make the right statements over our life and speak only what you have spoke to us. Help us trust you and help us with our faith in you when things don’t look like what we think they should look like. Remind us that your timing is perfect and what you have in store for us is greater than any thing that we could even image or think.  In JESUS Name! AMEN

F.E.A.R.

This has been a week. It has been a week of constant fighting and constant trust in the word of GOD. For the last two years FEAR has been my biggest fight. The FEAR of failure, FEAR of rejection, FEAR of sacrifice, FEAR of not being loved or being able to love again, FEAR of not completing goals, FEAR of losing more than I can handle, FEAR of grieving, FEAR of the enemy, FEAR of me and ability to be successful, FEAR of the unknown, FEAR of losing, and most importantly FEAR of not being good enough. That’s a lot of FEAR I know and as I type this I feel the weight of FEAR being revealed and release off my life so let me keep typing. F.E.A.R. False Evidence Appearing Real. The word of GOD clearly states that GOD has not given us the spirit of FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) but has given the power, love, and sound mind (2Tim1:7 ) So why is the fight so great when it comes to FEAR? Why is it so great to the point it that it can manifest as  a spirit that can over take your mind even in your dream. That even in the places you see as your safety the spirit of FEAR continues to be ever present. For me it has manifested in my dreams. I can have pleasant dream and then the natural manifestation of FEAR comes in and I wake up to the enemy standing over me trying to over take me. But today I take on the art of fighting. The first thing we must due when facing fear is we must learn how to trust Daddy. So many times we cause our own fear by losing focus on what Daddy has told us to do. Disobedience will cause the door of FEAR to creep open. We must meditate on the word  that gives us simple instructions on how to focus: Fear not for I am with you. (Isa. 41:10) How can we take this instruction and apply it to our life? Well if Daddy told us that he is with us then we have nothing to lose. He also states that nothing can separate us from his love, (Romans 8:38) NOTHING. So when FEAR makes you feel like you have been separated from GOD know that this is just the trick of the enemy, because the only thing that separates you from Daddy is you. Now that you know that GOD is always with you, you have to trust the presence of his love. Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. You have to trust the song that GOD sings over you know that it is one with great plans and it will restore your joy, give you peace, and allow you to know that he will always save you no matter what.  After you have trust him, dwell in his love, you next must operate an take your position of authority. First power you possess is your faith. Hebrew 11:1 For Faith is the confidence… We are going to stop right there. Faith is your confidence with it your can conquer everything! It causes you to speak with boldness and assurance that whatever you tell Daddy he will do, but also it allows you to cast down, destroy, and cancel the assignments, ambushes, and attacks of the enemy. Second remember your place, title, and position. Psalms 8:4-6 discusses our position and power:  “what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God  and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority.” Let me encourage you some more about your power. Romans 8:11 states that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is the same power that lives inside of us. Wait so you mean to tell me that the same power that rolled the stone away, took off Jesus’s dead clothes, and clothed him with clothing of life lives in me?!?! Yep that’s what I am saying. So what power does FEAR really have but what you give it. So today let’s conquer this False Evidence Appearing Real that we  have given power to. Let’s stand in our true authority and rest in FAITH know that GOD will always make a way out of no way and he will do beyond what he said he would do.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for always giving us the answers to our issues, situations, circumstances, and reminding us of our power, authority, and position in you. Daddy we thank you with that all we need is in you and that FEAR has no power over your love, joy, peace, and presence. We thank you that in our thanksgiving you take hold to our FEAR and create a yearning to have faith in your word, promises, will, and perfect timing. Daddy we thank you that on today that every thing that we labled or connected to FEAR is being destroyed and we relinquished the power of the enemy out and off our life. We will no longer feed the spirit of FEAR by submitting to it’s authority. We take the spirit of FEAR under our authority that we have due to our position of being the sons and daughters of the Most High, and we cast it to the pit of hell in which it was formed and we release the power of your love and trust in you GOD In JESUS NAME. We thank you Daddy that we shut down the gates of the enemy and we cancel every plan that has been formed to destroy us through the use of FEAR. We thank you DADDY that we declare victory and freedom from FEAR and we no longer yield to the authority of FEAR or the plans to FEAR. We sit, we taken in, and we continue to speak FAITH in our life. When things are unknown we speak FAITH that you will give us the wisdom and guidance that we need through your Holy Spirit to get to the destination that you called us to. When things seem uneased we speak your love, knowing that in your love you soothe all our issues and calm us with your peace.  Daddy we laugh at FEAR knowing that the reality of it’s manifestation is not real and that it can only have the power we allow it to have in our life. We thank you that all is well and FEAR is not some we submit to but something we have defeated in the art of fighting it with FAITH. In JESUS NAME. AMEN

The Three C’s

Good Morning Daddy! It’s been a while since we had a breakfast date. So glad that you are always available to have breakfast with me no matter how I treat you with my time. (SMH). Daddy I have been thinking about some things that I thought were good and now that I look at them I see they weren’t what I thought. I hear you daughter please go on and speak your soul… So Daddy I was looking at my life. I mean really looking at my life and how it is going. I don’t feel the attacks of the enemy, things are flowing in my life like I desire, and I feel peace. Now Daddy I am thinking to myself this is a great thing I mean a peaceful thing. Then I ready a devotion that shock my peace. It said: “If you are at a place of rest, then you can guarantee that your life has become comfortable. If you are comfortable you can bet that you  have surely rest in the arms of contentment, and if you rest in contentment, then complacency is the wedding band you wear. If you are are experiencing these three Cs then rest assure you have cause yourself from not growing to another level. Never marry the three Cs just enjoy them in the moment of preparation for your new promotion.” Daddy I read this thought over and over again trying to figure out why I kept getting this negative vibe. Then it dawn on me… I am married to the three Cs and I am not looking to grow. I like this place of peace, I like knowing what’s going on, that I can control or at least be able to handle life now. Daddy I’m good. So I thought….Then I realize this is uncomfortable. Being comfortable is uncomfortable….Daddy how is this so. How can being comfortable, resting in peace, being secure that life is life, and being productive in my box, be bad?????? Daddy help me understand this….. Daughter it is truly simple. If you are comfortable where do we get the chance to have discussion like this. Comfort equals your will and leaves no room for my will, communicating with me, or even allow me to take you to another level of trust in our relationship. You begin to trust me where you want to trust me and you create a routine in our relationship. There is no room for my supernatural to manifest, I can’t perform an miracles in your life, or grant you greater favor. When you become content you limited the anointing on your life. You say to me, Daddy that’s enough I don’t want to be refreshed, revived, or restored, don’t make me over,  as a matter of fact the grace and mercy you give me daily is good enough, I don’t particularly care for wisdom or even the fact that you want to use me outside of what I have already experience… I think my testimony is great as it is. I don’t feel like I need to build the kingdom any more, I don’t mind being selfish, I know it’s not about me and someone is depending on me to get through this moment, but Daddy you can find someone else.  And daughter do you know that complacency is the key to an open door for the enemy. If you are complacent you say to me, Daddy thanks for the protection this is enough. I know you calm the storm in my life last time but I can handle this one on my own. You limit me  and our relationship. You will not be able to see how I can be Jehovah Jireh, (your provider)  Jehovah Nissi (your banner of victory), Jehovah Rapha (your healer),  and Jehovah Shalom (your peace)… You will never know me as “I AM.” You say to me that the salvation of my son is good enough for you and you want no more to do with me. Conversations like this one is not necessary because I  can just read your word and get the answers, I don’t need a relationship with you GOD. You say to me you don’t want the intimacy we share, you want me to be Lord and  you Servant, nothing more or nothing less. Although your flesh dwells in the assurance of comfort, lives in the presence of contentment, and embraces complacency; these three Cs are unhealthy for your spirit man. They cause your spirit man to die and your flesh to rise, they open the opportunity  for the enemy to do whatever to you, whenever he wants to, and it is a no to my will and a yes to yours. So Daughter how do you feel about comfort, contentment, and complacency? Daddy not so good… Now daughter, know that I want you to experience comfort, but in me, I want you to be content that I am…”I AM” and that’s greater than anything you could be, and complacent  in the fact that my son is the true access that you need to get to me, and my Holy Spirit has direct instructions for you to do the will that I desire for you daily. Daughter, now that you know what the three Cs can do to our relationship what do you choose? How comfortable, content, and complacent are you? Daddy I am not. I want to just dwell, rest, and be assure that you are my comfort, contentment, and I am secure that I will always be complacent with you…Because in reality there is no complacency in you… You are always creating something new. Daughter you are so right, and right now I’m about to create a new thing in you starting with your heart…. I love you and thank you for inviting me to breakfast, I always look forward to spending time with you. Hope we can do this more often.

Daddy

And There is More

As I was reading my friend’s Latoya Tolbert’s blog “Is There More”  here on wordpress (got check it out: latoyatolbert.wordpress.com)  I got a revelation… I really do want more. As I reflect on all the events that have happen in the US I am convince and convicted of three things. As Christian we have become wavier in our faith as a representative of Christ. We have lost the aspect of GOD’s love towards the people of this world. As I hear the nation glorify the actions that are clearly against GOD’s will my heart weeps. I want to be in a place not of judgement, but of love. I want my reaction towards their actions to be of love and I want this desperately for the kingdom as well. I want to see the miracles of GOD manifest right before my eyes, and not be shaken by the things that I can’t control or even the weapons formed against me. I want the more. I want more of his presence, I want more of his love, more of his power, I want more of his word, wisdom, and understanding of my position as daughter. I want more. And can I declare there is more. There is more to GOD and today with a heart of vulnerability, I am convince I can’t settle, I can’t compromise, and I can’t allow anything to stop me from getting to the MORE. I want to encourage someone that feels like they don’t know how to get to more, or even those that feel that they are at more, but feel like the more they obtain has left or they don’t know how they achieve it… There is more and there is no need to settle without pursing the more. As I have grown in my intimate relationship with GOD I  realize that the more I experienced at 16 is not the more I am experiencing at 30 something. I realize that at 16 I was getting to know my identity in GOD at 30 I know my identity I am just trying to tap into the power, privilege, purpose, and potential of my identity. So today know there is more and don’t settle for the more you have, keep asking for more and more and more.

Prayer: Daddy thank you that in you there is always more. More love, more power, more purpose, more protection, more provision, more wisdom, more of what we need and all that we need. Today we give you a more praise. Not for what you can and have done for us, but a more praise to tell you thank for the more. Thank you for the more we didn’t even ask for, for the more grace, the more mercy, thank you for the more of your presence, your face, your time with us. Thank you for the more of our healing, the more of your restoring, the more of your rebuilding, the more of your revealing. Daddy today we give you more. More of us, more of our life, more of our time, more of our heart, more of our love, more of worship, and more of our praise. We thank you that today we declare we will never settle for any more levels of what we think more is to us. We will pursue more of you until you come back for us or we leave this earth. In JESUS name! AMEN!
